Charlie Mitchell, an 19-year-old hailing from the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, is a rising star in the realm of new-age Crooning and Contemporary Pop Music. He is renowned for his captivating voice and remarkable ability to connect with his audience and often considered an old soul. Praised by none other than Multi Grammy Award Winning Narada Michael Walden, who declared him a "superstar in the making".
Charlie is releasing his latest original song called "Write About Our Love" on the 11th of July 2025 which he was inspired by after watching the touching and beautiful film "Past Lives". The song is written and performed by Charlie and produced by the young talented emerging producer Cainan Swensson from the Gold Coast.
Charlie's journey in music began at a tender age, but it wasn't until he turned 12 that he fully committed himself to the craft. Since then, he has graced numerous stages and events with his talent, earning admiration from industry peers who have dubbed him the "NEXT CROONER."
As a result of a kind introduction and gift from friend and fellow Entertainer Brian Evans (The Crooner Man) Charlie received the opportunity to collaborate with the esteemed Narada Michael Walden, a Multi-Grammy Award-Winning Producer renowned for his work with music legends such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Barbara Streisand, Ray Charles, The Temptations, and many more. In May 2022, Charlie unveiled his inaugural original track, "Even After," produced by Narada and written by Executive Producer Brian Evans, friend Jessie Stenger and Charlie. The song made an impressive debut, soaring to the No. 1 spot on the PLAY MPE Charts for Adult Contemporary Music on a global scale.
With the help of friend and Entertainer Brian Evans, Charlie performed live on Australian National TV with Channel 10 - Studio 10 interviewing him in 2022 and showcasing his debut #1 song "Even After" produced by Narada Michael Walden.
Charlie has had his own show at TWIN TOWNS located on the GOLD COAST which is known for housing some of music greats. Here Charlie performed with a 17 piece BIG BAND including TAP DANCERS. Charlie's vision and goal is to revitalise Big Band Music and keep it alive for the 21st Century.
Charlie released his first Big Band EP called "Bright Lights" in early 2025 produced by Legendary L.A Wrecking Crew Guitarist & Producer Louie Shelton. The EP contains a number of original songs and a few covers. Charlie has also released some mellow Indie pop songs and has a more to be released in mid to late 2025.
